Text Manipulation: Advanced

About Course

Advanced Excel Data & Text Manipulation Course

Our Advanced Excel Data & Text Manipulation Course offers practical skills and deep knowledge. It covers techniques for effective data work, a recurring theme.

The Advance Excel Learning course starts with tasks for data and text manipulation without tricky methods. You’ll learn to select columns using CHOOSECOLS, creating new lists easily. CHOOSEROWS lets you select rows with special constants. The DROP function, combined with sorting, helps exclude unnecessary data, a key Excel learning aspect.

EXPAND is your tool for adding rows or columns. HSTACK and VSTACK merge data from different sources, a fundamental Excel skill.

You’ll explore functions like REMOVE TEXT BEFORE-AFTER CHARACTERS, TEXTAFTER, and TEXTBEFORE for text precision. They help cut and split text. The TAKE function selects required rows and columns, enhancing your Excel proficiency.

The Advanced Excel Data & Text Manipulation Course also covers data transformation. TOCOL turns rows into a column, TOROW does the opposite. WRAPCOLS and WRAPROWS change data format by organizing it into columns or rows, another critical Excel aspect.

TEXTSPLIT is introduced for splitting text into parts. You’ll become adept at sorting, stacking, transforming, and splitting data. This knowledge equips you to handle and reshape data for analysis and organization in diverse, advanced ways, making Excel learning a key expertise component.
