A-Z Guide for Intermediate Users
About Course
Intermediate Excel training
Our Intermediate Excel training course offers a wide range of lessons to help you become better at working with data in Excel. You’ll learn how to make your data look better by changing headers and footers, and you’ll also discover how to fix problems with circular references and tricky formulas. You’ll even get the hang of using functions that help you work with text, like SUBSTITUTE (to replace text), REPLACE (to change text), and CONCAT (to combine text).
As you go deeper into the course, you’ll explore more advanced ways to analyze data. You will learn about things like COUNTA (to count non-empty cells), IF (to make decisions based on conditions), EXACT (to compare text exactly), and Interquartile Ranges (a way to understand data spread). You’ll also learn how to make tables that show how often different values appear.
Don’t worry if some things seem confusing at first, like arrays and TRANSPOSE. We’ll break them down so you can understand how to use them to count and take out specific characters from your data.
Charts
When it comes to making your data look good, you’ll become really skilled at creating awesome charts. You will learn how to pick your own colors and symbols to make your charts look cool. You’ll even discover how to work with PivotTables – those tables that can show a lot of data in a simple way. You’ll learn how to put filters on them using slicers and how to manage your data by combining columns and removing duplicates.
We’ll also dive into some cool functions like VLOOKUP (to find data), XLOOKUP (to find data in a better way), COUNTIFS (to count based on conditions), SUMPRODUCT (to do tricky multiplications), and SUMIF (to add up based on conditions). Once you get the hang of these, you’ll be ready to do some really advanced searches and calculations.
